What can I say about a dental team that does so much more than Dentistry!!!! I have seen Doctor Talley’s group for over 10 years (as did both my kids until they moved away) and though I have been very satisfied and confident with my dental health, I didn’t realize the depth of their caring until I mentioned a disabled friend with terrible teeth to Dr. Talley. My friend, Leon, had infected gums, totally rotten teeth and a very low income.

Doctor Talley said,” Bring him in and let’s have a look”.

After a thorough examination, he said that none of the remaining teeth could be saved and needed to be removed to permit the gums to heal. Leon would need false teeth. I explained that Leon lived on a very low monthly disability check. Doctor Talley said that this needed to happen so if I would cover the small lab fee he would coordinate and cover all the services and appointments needed for the 6 month project. Leon was THRILLED!! The remainder of his teeth were removed, gums healed, a new set of very attractive and perfectly fitting teeth created and Leon walked out with something he hadn’t had in YEARS, a BEAUTIFUL SMILE!!! Several years later, a late night fire took Leon’s house and his teeth. I didn’t want to impose on “my dentist” again and didn’t mention Leon’s situation until I was in for my regular checkup. Without hesitation, Doctor Talley said,” Tom, please bring Leon in to see me.”

After a hug from Doctor Talley and the staff at Innovative Smiles, Leon had about 8 visits scheduled and soon had brand new teeth and ……………. His great smile back – AT NO COST TO ANYONE EXCEPT INNOVATIVE SMILES!! All Leon could say was, ”I am so blessed!!! And Doctor Talley and all of his staff are such a blessing!!!”

The value of a GOOD dentist goes way beyond the skills they learn in medical school. Do they see beyond the teeth and REALLY CARE about their patients as individuals??? There’s no doubt in my mind about MY dentist!
